TRENTON (March 20, 2026) – The excitement was palpable at the Golden Nugget Atlantic City Hotel, Casino and Marina today, as the New Jersey Lottery held its highly anticipated Million Dollar Replay Grand Prize Drawing. More than $1,500,000 in prizes were awarded, with the top prize going to Louis Massa of Essex County. Fourteen additional Lottery players walked away with prizes ranging from $10,000 to $100,000.
“I just feel so lucky and blessed. It really does happen… submit your tickets,” said Massa as the as the crowd erupted in applause to his win.
Throughout 2025, New Jersey Lottery players submitted their non-winning Scratch-Off tickets online for a second chance to win big prizes. Each quarter, 100 lucky individuals were awarded a $250 prize along with an entry into today’s Grand Prize Drawing.
Additional prizes included two $5,000 prize, five $1,000 prizes, five Scratch-Off packs valued at $300 each and five gift baskets, were also distributed on Friday.
James Carey, New Jersey Lottery Executive Director, shared his enthusiasm, stating “This event is something I eagerly anticipate every year. The energy in this room today was incredible, and it’s a true privilege to witness the joy and excitement of our winners on what is one of the happiest days of their lives.”
For the 15th consecutive year, quarterfinalists in the Million Dollar Replay contest came to Atlantic City for fun, entertainment, and the chance to become the next millionaire. “It’s incredibly rewarding to see our players enjoy this unique opportunity to transform their non-winning tickets into life-changing prizes,” Carey added.


Lottery Host Scott Present, with assistance from the Lottery staff, conducted the drawing for the quarterfinalists. Master of Ceremonies Adam Helfgott of Xtreme Event Group added a vibrant touch to the event by engaging with guests and prizewinners throughout the day. The drawing was conducted under the observation of Mercadien, P.C. Certified Public Accountants until the official results were achieved and the 15 finalists were selected.
Grand Prize Winner Story:
Reflecting on his million-dollar win, Louis Massa shared, “While dropping my daughter off at school this morning a white balloon hit my car and that was a sign that something good was going to happen. I’m so thankful to God. This is a blessing for my family.” Masssa remained overwhelmed by his newfound fortune and said he will need to decide what to do with his windfall.
