TRENTON (January 20, 2026) – A New Jersey Lottery player in Essex County matched all five white balls, missing just the Power Ball, to win $1 million in Monday’s Powerball drawing. Additionally, a $250,000 prize was secured in Burlington County in the Double Play drawing.
No player won the jackpot, which is $209 million for Wednesday’s drawing. The winning numbers Monday were 05, 28, 34, 37, and 55. The Power Ball was 17, and the multiplier was 03. Hari Mini Store, 620 Thomas Boulevard in East Orange sold the $1 million ticket.
The Double Play drawing is a separate event for players who opted in for the Double Play feature on their Powerball tickets. No player won the top prize, which is $10 million. The Double Play drawing’s numbers were 02, 09, 25, 26 and 63; the Double Play ball was 08. Hartford Market, 88 Hartford Road in Delran, sold the $250,000 winner.
