TRENTON (January 2, 2025) – A New Jersey Lottery player in Hudson County celebrated the New Year in a big way Thursday by winning the top prize in the Win for Life! Scratch-Off game.
The game’s top prize is $10,000 a month for 25 years for a total of $3 million. The winner may choose to select a lump-sum cash payment of $1,769,800.
The 502 Grocery and Deli, 502 Ocean Avenue, Jersey City, sold the winning ticket. The prize is the first of three available in the latest version of the game (#01948), released in November 2025.
Other top Scratch-Off prizes won this week:
- $250,000 Crossword: $250,000, Jan. 1; Millennium Food Mart, 108 Bloomfield Avenue, Newark, Essex County. Three of six top prizes remain in the $10 game.
- Merry Money Tree: $200,000, December 29; Wawa #433, 502 Shore Road, Somers Point, Atlantic County.
- Merry Money Tree: $200,000, December 29; 7-Eleven #11036, 45 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Monmouth County. All three top prizes in the $5 game have been won.
