Bergen County Player Wins $4,000,000
Ticket Purchased in Closter Hit 4X Multiplier for Big Mega Millions Prize
TRENTON (April 15, 2026) – A New Jersey Lottery player in Bergen County on Tuesday matched four white balls and the Mega ball as well as the 4X multiplier to increase a $1,000,000 prize to $4,000,000.
In April 2025, the multi-state game enacted a rule change that provided players with a free random multiplier. Players are eligible to win a 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X or 10X multiplier. The ticket was sold at Garden State Dairy, 135 Oakland Street in Closter. The winning numbers were 17, 21, 24, 57 and 69. The Mega ball was 12. No player won the jackpot, which is $130 million heading into Friday’s drawing.
In dollar terms the largest prizes from multipliers in New Jersey came when a Bergen County player in June matched five white balls and hit the 4X multiplier to win $4 million, up from $1 million. An Ocean County player in October and a Middlesex County player in March each hit the 3X multiplier to win $3 million.
